Here the sea is one more inhabitant. It does not knock at the door; it simply bursts in, generous, through wide panes of glass that dissolve into the architecture, bringing with it liquid light, shifting reflections and the constant murmur of the waves as the soundtrack to everyday life. This waterfront apartment is a celebration of that relationship, a continuous dialogue between inside and outside where boundaries disappear.
The living room unfolds like a lookout. Linen sofas in ivory tones invite contemplation. Rattan cane chairs, the material the Mediterranean has chosen for centuries, create intimate places to rest. Glass tables on dark steel bases float like islands. Every piece of furniture defers to the true star: the views. Yet nothing is accidental. Behind this apparent simplicity lies precision: the choice of every shade, the height of every shelf, the depth of every pane of glass.
The color palette is marine without being nautical. Deep blues appear in throw pillows that carry the memory of the ocean. Coral red in linen napkins speaks of sunsets. Light woods in side tables—honey tones, soft oak—evoke the warmth of the sand. The green of indoor palms sets a lively rhythm. But the real color is the one that comes in through the windows: the intense blue of the sky, the turquoises of the water, the dark greens of the pine woods that shelter the coast. Nature paints the decor.
Handcrafted details fill every corner: natural wood bowls, white flowers in glass vases, books with navy-blue spines arranged on neoclassical shelves, paintings capturing harbor scenes, gilded brass candlesticks. They are whispers of stories. Seaside decor without forced iconography. The objects speak the language of the place organically.
This is an apartment where the true nature of luxury is understood: not owning the views, but living within them. Not decorating with the sea, but letting the sea be the decoration. Noble materials—wood, glass, linen, rattan—converse in hushed tones, leaving center stage to what matters: calm. The breeze. The light that never rests.
